MERLO - 60 Years of History, the Exhibition Pathway

5. Identity and Perspective

Identity and Perspective

With the dawn of the new millennium, Merlo continues to demonstrate its ability to combine product excellence with a continuous drive for innovation. This room is dedicated to those innovations presented through videos, images, graphics and objects.

From the various sections emerges the comprehensive depiction of a company deeply rooted in its local area, investing in the community and in-house talent. A company capable of responding to global challenges by adopting cutting-edge technologies to reduce environmental impact and improve product safety and comfort.

Several peculiarities have enabled the Merlo group to grow, combining tradition with a forward-looking vision aimed at the future, making Merlo a market leader.

From a small workshop to a global company, Merlo has always remained a family-run business rooted in its local area and community. Despite exporting around 80% of its products worldwide, the company has chosen to keep production in Italy, in Cuneo province where it was founded.

In 2014, Merlo was awarded the title of "Historic Company of Italy," joining the select circle of “centenary” companies that have contributed to Italy's and Cuneo’s history. The aspiration is to continue growing and evolving without losing the bond of belonging and unity between employees and their home territory.
