Tac-Lock

This model is equipped with the exclusive patented and dampened Merlo CS cab with active hydropneumatic suspension that can be switched off directly by the operator. The low frequency system allows the drastic reduction of vibrations inside the passenger compartment and facilitates the absorption of the stress and vibrations transmitted during the transfer and work phases, even on uneven ground.

Comfort

The Merlo MCVTronic continuously variable transmission system guarantees maximum efficiency at the highest speeds. The electronic transmission control manages the transition from the "maximum torque" mode to the "maximum efficiency" mode, in response to the user's needs and the operating conditions. The transition takes place in a smooth and continuous manner, ensuring maximum movement uniformity and precision, superior driving comfort, uninterrupted torque transmission and a greater ability to work at reduced speeds for higher performance. Once the desired speed is reached, the diesel engine's rotation speed is reduced, with considerable fuel savings.

Hydrostatic transmission

Simple and precise operations. The entire range is equipped with hydrostatic transmission, which makes the work phases simpler and more precise. Moreover, the dry disc brakes limit the absorption of energy, thereby reducing the machine’s fuel consumption.

Efficiency

The four driving wheels are all steered with hydraulic power assistance. Four steering modes are available (on the front wheels, pivot steering, crab steering and - optionally - on the rear wheels only).

The hydraulic operation of the attachment offers innumerable competitive advantages compared to traditional systems that use mechanical devices. The attachment in use can work in positions that go beyond the maximum angles allowed by the cardan shafts; there are no mechanical parts subject to breakage and, as a result, any recoil of the kinematic chain is excluded. Furthermore, the operator can reverse the attachment's rotation direction through a simple electro-hydraulic control in the cab.

Compact and lightweight

MCVTronic. The intelligent Merlo CVTronic continuously variable transmission combines Merlo's experience, acquired on hydrostatic transmissions, with new technical solutions that make it possible to achieve the same performance, consumption and efficiency as a traditional CVT gearbox.

This model can employ tools on all four sides, which makes it a real all-rounder that can meet the needs of the most diverse sectors.

Performance

The steel structure of the tool-carrying tractors is the indestructible frame on which a highly technological work system is built. The chassis, reinforced with a high-resistance protective reinforcement over the most exposed areas, amplifies the concept of rigidity and strength, thanks to the exclusive torsion-resistant design: the result is a range of particularly efficient and sturdy machines for all applications, especially the most demanding ones.

Integrated system

Certified cabs / Certified protection - Anti-break glass. The Merlo cab is FOPS - Level II - and ROPS certified with approved anti-break glass to guarantee a high level of safety for the operator.
