Merlo UK are pleased to announce the launch of two new editions to their extensive agricultural product range on offer in the UK at Lamma 2024: The Turbofarmer 30.7 and the Turbofarmer 27.6.
Showcasing at Lamma will be the new Turbofarmer 30.7, adding to the compact Merlo agricultural range on offer. Specifically designed to meet the demands of those working in confined spaces such a traditional farmyard setting, the TF30.7 is the much-anticipated successor to the ever-popular P32.6 model that found favour for many years amongst the British livestock farming sector. The compact overall dimensions of this new model at just 2 meters wide and 2.10 mtr high which can be lowered further still to 1.90 mtr high with the Low Cab option, meaning it can quite simply reach in places that many other handlers in its class cannot.
Despite its compact dimensions the new TF30.7 packs a punch when it comes to performance, powered by a 100hp Deutz TCD 4-cylinder Stage V diesel engine this new model offers almost 7 meters of reach and a 3-ton lift capacity. Aligning with all other Merlo TurboFarmer models, the TF30.7 features EPD managed hydrostatic drive with a maximum speed of 40 km/h. If comfort is a priority the optional CS Cab Suspension can also be specified to enhance comfort over rough terrain or potholed roads. To ensure the best very best performance load-sensing hydraulics complete with flow-sharing are standard, giving the operator the ability to make simultaneous multiple boom movements at once, optimising performance when mucking out or loading bales.
Another edition to the Merlo compact agricultural range is the brand new Turbofarmer 27.6. This new model represents the ideal compromise between size and power, with compact dimensions whilst still offering excellent performance. Specifically designed and built for the agricultural market, the TF27.6 offers several new features including an enhanced hydraulic system with flow sharing control offering hydraulic flow to 95l/min ensuring the possibility of operating up to three hydraulic movements simultaneously. A new high torque hydrostatic driveline transmission has been developed with a 150cc oversized hydrostatic motor, allowing the machine to reach a maximum road speed of 40km/h.
The TF27.6 has an impressive lifting capacity of 2.7 tonnes with a 6-meter reach and measures at 2.2m tall & 1.9m wide. Despite its compact size, the TF27.6 is also equipped with a full-size Merlo ROPS & FOPS equipped cab, as found across the rest of the Merlo handler range. Enhanced load control system provides precise feedback of load position and safety stability of the machine ensuring maximum lifting performance.
The new version of the app, which will be available from 2024, has been refined and improved, provides differentiated profiles to suit both private individuals and dealerships or large rental companies, and improves diagnostic and data sampling services with the aim of optimising performance, productivity and flexibility.
Equipped with a new triggerless capacitive multifunction ergonomic joystick, these new models can also be fitted as option with the proven Merlo Adaptive Stability Control System (ASCS) which offers an in cab LCD display with attachment recognition and weighing system.
