Coming from all over the world, from New Zealand to Canada, Merlo's international representatives shared an immersive day, between institutional and celebratory moments. The day ended with a gala dinner in the beautiful setting of the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi.
San Defendente di Cervasca (CN), 11/12/2024 – 60th anniversary of Merlo SpA: an important milestone celebrated on 5 December with about 80 representatives of the foreign sales network, including subsidiaries and importers from every corner of the world, who gathered to celebrate an event that embraced every time zone, from New Zealand to Canada. Merlo confirms itself as a global business where the sun never sets: a constant presence that unites continents and cultures in a single shared vision. An intense day, divided between moments of reflection on the company's history and a look at the future, in an atmosphere of great sharing and celebration.
The morning in Cuneo: between past, present and future
The celebrations began at the Varco space in Cuneo, where participants were welcomed by the Chairman, Paolo Merlo. In his speech, he focused on the values that have made Merlo a world reference in the sector: innovation, quality and sustainability. He also stressed the importance of people, both within the company and the distribution network, who have allowed the company to grow and innovate over the past 60 years.
The morning continued with activities dedicated to the company's history and identity. Divided into three groups, the guests were guided through an exciting and detailed story:
- Projection of historical videos, which retraced the key moments of the 60 years of activity and reviewed the testimonies of former employees who have followed the history of the company since its beginnings.
- Visit to the “Merlo60” exhibition at Palazzo Samone, in the centre of Cuneo, an exhibition set up down to the smallest detail with documents, photographs and models narrating the evolution of the company.
- Tour of the San Defendente di Cervasca plant, where the latest technological innovations and future projects were unveiled, testifying to the company's continuous quest for excellence and investment in the territory.
Lunch was a moment of conviviality, allowing participants to strengthen ties and share professional experiences, all in the collaborative spirit that distinguishes Merlo.
The afternoon and gala evening in Turin
In the afternoon, the group moved to Turin to enjoy an exclusive experience in the splendid setting of the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi. The guided tour offered guests an immersion in history and art, underlining the company's bond with the Piedmont region.
The evening continued with an elegant aperitif and gala dinner, hosted in the majestic halls of the Palazzina.
