ROCK HILL, SC / CUNEO, ITALY – Merlo celebrated 60 years of innovation and excellence, with representatives from Merlo America joining over 100 attendees in Cuneo, Italy, to commemorate the company's legacy and future.

Merlo held celebratory events and meetings in December to commemorate the previous 60 years, plan for the future and, notably, showcase technological innovations currently in development at the factory in Italy.

“Our team is relatively new in the U.S. market, but Merlo’s brand offers 60 years of performance, and this was incredibly clear during our trip,” said Cole Renken, Merlo America’s General Manager. “There are many great things happening at Merlo, and our division is excited to support our dealer partners through these innovations and programs.”

Established in 2024, Merlo America is a new division of Merlo supporting dealers and end-users throughout the United States with components distribution, training and service. Headquartered in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Merlo America is a quickly growing operation with goals to double its parts inventory in 2025.

During the 60th Anniversary trip to Cuneo, Renken and Merlo America representatives were able to connect with their contemporaries across the globe, share ideas and learn from other Merlo divisions.

“Beyond its history, Merlo’s real strength lies in its people and their willingness to dare, try new things and challenge old ways of thinking,” Renken said. “This was incredibly apparent when we visited with our global partners.”

In addition to business meetings, tours and product demonstrations, Merlo highlighted the company's history and the Merlo family, which still owns it today. Events included historical documentaries, a visit to the “Merlo60” exhibition at Palazzo Samone in the center of Cuneo, and a candlelight show written to celebrate the company's major milestones.

“It was incredibly inspiring, and our team is ready for great things in 2025 and beyond,” said Renken.
