MERLO - 60 Years of History, the Exhibition Pathway

1. MERLO, 60 Years of History

Exhibition intro

Merlo S.p.a., the world leader in telehandlers, is an Italian family-owned company renowned for innovation, quality and excellence for over 60 years.

Founded in Cuneo as a small workshop, it has grown into an international group that continues to thrive, while maintaining its core values.

This exhibition traces the milestones of a company that is deeply rooted in its region and capable of successfully responding to global challenges. Through state-of-the-art technology, investment in in-house talent, and a strong commitment to the community, Merlo has been able to grow without losing its identity.

From the first original product to the creation of the famous green telehandler, to the new generation of full-electric machines, the exhibition offers a glimpse into the continuous evolution of a company committed to innovation and vision.

“The history of Merlo is the story of dozens of people, who grew to become hundreds and are now thousands, who work with passion and share the same vision. So today, as we celebrate 60 years since Merlo was founded, it is time to stop and look at the history we have built together, with pride and with responsibility.”
Paolo Merlo, President and CEO of Merlo S.p.a.

“I have sought innovation all my life, with curiosity and tenacity, to develop ideas. To young people I say: dare. Don't stop, be ready for difficulties and sacrifice. Don't give up at the first defeat. Don't stop in the middle of the ocean. You have to get to the other side.”
Amilcare Merlo
